About the Lake Ridge Chorale
The Lake Ridge Chorale was formed in 2010 with the goal to uplift Lake Ridge and the surrounding areas through our seasonal concerts, events and charity support. We are a mixed voice choir that celebrates the diverse, artistic expression of our members.
We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We receive support from partner organizations, and we provide assistance to carefully selected non-profit organizations in the local community, through donations collected at our concerts.
Vision and Mission
The mission of the Lake Ridge Chorale is to provide quality choral music of all genres to both singers of the Lake Ridge Chorale and the members of the audience.
In addition to creating exceptional concerts, we feel the responsibility to give back to our community through the sponsorship of selected local charities by donating concert revenue and non-perishable foods.

Neil Alexander
Accompanist

Neil Alexander grew up in Klamath Falls, Oregon, where he learned to play the piano. As a teenager, he accompanied the children’s choirs in both his own church and at his middle and high school choirs. Midway through high school, his family moved to Hermiston, Oregon and became members of the First United Methodist Church. At age 15, Neil “inherited” the job of organist at this church, which officially launched his church organist career.
Upon graduating from high school in 1963, he enlisted in the United States Navy. A four-year tour of duty at the Pentagon brought Neil to this area, where he accompanied the chancel and youth choirs, ensembles, and soloists as organist at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Burke United Methodist Church, and First United Presbyterian Church of Dale City. He is a former accompanist with the Fairfax Choral Society and has been serving as organist of St. Paul United Methodist Church since August 2016. He resides with his wife, Mary, here in Woodbridge. Neil has two sons; Brian, who lives in Oslo, Norway, and Jason, who lives in our hearts.
